3 week agoVery friendly and welcoming! My husband and oldest kiddo get their hair cuts here and they always do a great job. Today our 2 year old got his hair cut for the first time and Jesus was so patient with him. Great barbershop for both adults and kiddos.

3 week agoI cannot recommend Mark and Javier from HIS Barber Shop in Redlands enough. From the moment we walked in, Mark went above and beyond to connect with my autistic son. He didn’t rush into the haircut; instead, he took the time to build a relationship first. He offered my son candy, toys, and most importantly, comfort, before even getting him in the chair. Mark introduced himself slowly and made sure they both knew each other’s names before starting. His approach was patient, kind, and thoughtful. When it came time for the haircut, Mark worked quickly yet professionally, showing exceptional skill. My son, who usually struggles with haircuts, was able to sit through the entire session thanks to Mark’s understanding and ability to maneuver through the challenges. The result? The best haircut my son has ever had—hands down. We’ve visited numerous barbershops, and none come close to the experience or quality we received here. This is now our go-to barbershop. Javier also did an incredible job with our youngest son, who is just one and a half years old. He recognized when Christian needed a break and used the TV, toys, and snacks to keep him calm and entertained. Javier blended his hair beautifully, and Mark even helped keep Christian occupied during the process. The teamwork between them was seamless, making the entire experience stress-free for both of our children. HIS Barber Shop offers a level of professionalism and genuine care that is hard to find. The shop itself is spotless and decorated with law enforcement patches, which highlights their commitment to the community. On top of their barbering skills, they also offer prayers, reflecting their faith and values, which creates a welcoming and respectful environment. If you are looking for quality service tailored to each client’s needs, HIS Barber Shop is the place to go. We couldn’t be happier with the care, attention, and professionalism shown by Mark and Javier. We’ve finally found our barbershop, and we’re not going anywhere else! Highly recommend!

3 week agoLove that brother mark open his shop in the heart of Redlands. I had a very pleasant experience here makes you feel right at home. Lets just say I found my new barber shop. Mark and his team did a great job with my boys cuts and cant wait to go back for mine. Highly recommend great prices and a great positive experience. Make sure you stop by before you go anywhere else you wont regret it..

As a mom of a child with autism, haircuts have always been incredibly stressful for us due to my son’s sensory sensitivities—especially with clippers. But today, everything changed. From the moment we walked in, they made sure my son felt safe and comfortable. They had fidget toys ready for him, played his favorite cartoon on a tablet, and most importantly—they listened. Instead of using clippers, which are usually too overwhelming for him, they patiently used only scissors. They didn’t rush him, they spoke kindly and gently, and they celebrated every step of progress. For the first time in a long time, my son left a haircut smiling. If you’re a special needs parent, you know how rare and meaningful this kind of care is. This barbershop didn’t just give my son a great haircut—they gave us a moment of peace and joy. We will absolutely be back. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

3 month agoTook my dad in this morning after a doctor's appointment. He has Alzheimer's, and doesn't get out and about very much, so I popped in to see if he could get a cut before I took him home. Roman was able to help us immediately, and gave my dad a great cut. I appreciated the care Roman took to get things just right, and the fact that he was able to let Dad stay in his wheelchair for the process. Dad left looking sharp and feeling much better!

3 month agoWhat a great find. I was visiting in town and was on the way to the Breakfast Shack and when I parked in front of HIS Barber Shop, I thought I might be in one of their spots. So, I put my name in at the Breakfast Shack and decided to get a hair cut while there. What a great decision. Very professional, courteous, fun, and genuine. What a great experience!

4 month agoI brought my autistic twin boys into HIS Barber Shop today, and had an amazing experience! I had never taken either of them in to get a professional cut before, and I was very nervous. They made my kids feel so welcomed and accepted! I was having a hard time managing both by myself, and they made sure to help me by giving them sensory toys, lollipops, and helping me watch one while the other was getting cut. I even was lucky enough that one of the barbers caught my son after he eloped out the door! So thankful and grateful for their acceptance and inclusion! Not only that, but even with my son moving a lot, his haircut still came out so cute!!! I am definitely going to come back and recommending to all my fellow autism parents! 10/10! Thanks everyone!

4 month agoi moved to california from jersey and needed to find a barbershop, this was the first place i tried and from the first day i knew this was the place for me, not only do they have great barbers, this barbershop HAS GOD IN IT, if you trust in Jesus like i do and they do AND wanna walk out feeling not only fresh from a good haircut but also having an uplifted spirit this is the place for you, Mark is truly amazing, and i'm forever grateful for his kindness, go there! you won't be disappointed
